I have been looking for a place that could properly cut my teenage boys hair since they were little, that was affordable and I'm happy to say I finally found it at Town and Country Barber Shop and Salon. They made sure we were happy with the cut and upon each of my boy's separate visits, it's probably the first haircut they've had that was not a choppy mess.
The young guy that greets you when you first walk in is such a kind person and makes you feel comfortable being there. From the time my son and I walked in the shop yesterday to the time we left and noticed him helping an elderly individual into their car.
We will definitely return and refer others to this fine establishment.

First time visit after hearing friends who have long been patrons. From the fine cup of coffee I was offered while waiting for a stylist to the overall atmosphere and the pleasant experience and very good hair cut I received, my visit to Town and Country was my best hair salon experience in the 28 years I have lived in Chattanooga.

Ron is so good with color. My teenager had her first experience with hair highlights gone bad. We went to a stylist who tried to help fix it. My daughter failed to emphasize that she wanted it to look natural and didn't care about the blonde look..just natural. We paid twice to have it done, and she still was upset.
Finally, She begged me to see Ron and felt like he could fix it. He did! It looks unreal now and so natural. Ron, with his experience, picked up on what she wanted and that communication was key.
He completely fixed her hair back to her natural hair color!!! I wish I had brought my daughter to Ron in the beginning and saved $150!

This was my first time to Town and Country Barber Shop and Salon. The people there were friendly beyond compare. They offer you coffee or water upon your arrival, there is little wait time and they focus on you. I wanted a complete makeover that was difficult to do as I want to add silver into dark brown hair. Ron was amazing, took on the task with perfect results! I also wanted my hair into a new modern style and Ron again couldn't have done a better job. I have searched for over a year for the perfect salon to call "home" and I have found it! Will recommend to anyone!

Awesome, awesome people. They even offer you refreshments and the code to the WiFi while you're waiting. Great atmosphere and, more importantly, they know how to cut hair. The staff even stayed late to finish the job, without a hint of feeling rushed to do so. Was in Chattanooga for business, and will make an effort to come back to this place in a couple of months for my next haircut.

McKenzie is my 12 year old daughter. She has never had the salon experience until our visit to Town and Country. She was having highlights and a layered cut for her birthday. Amber went above and beyond to really talk to her about color choices, cut choices and explain the style process so that she can replicate it at home. When she was finished I was extremely satisfied with the results! It was Absolutely perfect vision!!We were also very impressed with the cleanliness and overall atmosphere of the salon. Every member of the staff who interacted with McKenzie made her feel so beautiful that when we walked out she said "momma I feel like a diva today!" The smile on her face was indication that we will be making Town and Country Salon our choice for a long time!

Fantabulous customer service- Seth was very attentive to all of my needs by making sure I had all of the details for my appointment when I called. Then he made sure I had coffee or water throughout my visit. Amber did beyond amazing work on my hair! I absolutely felt like I was on a makeover show - like a brand new woman. Ron assisted in the decision process when I was unsure what I wanted done with my hair and he was spot on with his recommendation - I love it! Overall the experience was by far my best experience in a salon in the 20years I have been going to salons!

Very friendly, courteous and professional staff. Clean and fun atmosphere. I have been there as a walk-in and appts. as well. Alan and Ron have both done an excellent job cutting my "very" short style that not just anyone can cut. Seth has always handled my appointments quickly, efficiently and I was very impressed that he seemed to remember who I was when I called even though I had only been there a couple of times. I have actually spent two years looking for a salon after having gone to the same person for nearly 30 years and I have happily found The ONE !

Such a sweet and special Barber Shop and Salon. The owners and all that work their have become like family to us. My son Gunther had his very first haircut there. He just turned 6 and got his last haircut at Town and Country the day before we moved across the country. I was recommended to get my haircut by 2 different individuals. The haircut fade wasn't even, literally had to go home and shave the top of my head shorter to attempt to fix it. Not sure if the barber was having an off day or if this is the norm for him. Willing to give him a second chance as everyone makes mistakes. It was a normal men's fade with clippers and finger length cut on top. The straight razor trim was nice. The price wasn't bad nor the atmosphere. Friendly Personel

I've been going to Town and Country for over 2 years now, and have never had a bad experience. They are always friendly, professional, and on time. I wouldn't go anywhere else for a hair cut.

I have the best hair dresser in the World!!!! I plan to win the lottery and hire him as my full time hair dresser, but first I have to start playing the lottery. Seriously...You all are so blessed you have a great staff and everyone is very helpful, friendly, and professional. Love you all! Big hugs around the shop. BTW I already recommend the shop to everyone which is why my entire family goes there. :-)

I love to visit Jane! She is the very best and always takes great care of me..even on a minutes notice. I have a very pleasant experience when she cuts my wildly curly hair. My lady approves of my haircut every single time Jane cuts it (she dislikes my hair when anyone else cuts it). The prices have gone up a little but you get what you pay for! It's totally worth a few more dollars to visit Jane at Town and Country Barber Shop when you need a superb haircut or beard trim! She is very precise, has a great attitude, and years of experience that keeps me coming back. Jane is a true professional and is totally worth visiting! Thanks for the excellent service Town and Country!

Fabulous - I wish I'd found you sooner! Jan filled in at the last minute and did a keratin blow out - which isn't a quick assignment. She was friendly and efficient. The staff was wonderful and I really appreciated the family friendly atmosphere. I will definitely return and I have already referred friends/family, and I will continue to do so. Thank you!

I have been going to Town and Country for 14 years. I travel 40 minutes one way every time I have an appointment, and it is worth it! I have never left unhappy. I would not trust another.... Ron is incredible!

Ron is one of the best hairdressers in Chattanooga. He has years of experience and I never leave disappointed! My color is always beautiful and my hair always gets the star treatment. The atmosphere in the shop is classy and relaxed. The North Shore is where everything exciting is happening in Chattanooga and it's no wonder this place is situated right in the center of it all.

Had my hair done at Town & Country for over 10 years and have always been pleased with results. Ron is the best there is for coloring and cut -- excellent. Prompt appointments. Jan is my sub when Ron not available and she also is excellent, but from observing other hairdressers on staff, I would be pleased with all. Very clean and friendly atmosphere.

I've had my hair cut here for the last 20 years! The owner Ron and his wife Marty are two of the nicest people you can meet. The business has grown from just the two of them to now a staff of 6 or more (I lose count!) excellent evidence of growth due to great service and talent. They have progressed from just offering excellent cuts and styles to being a full service salon! I love this place and you will too.

Marti has been cutting my hair for 20 years (she must have started when she was 15). First of all she does a great job. Marti and Ron have a great team and have created a great atmosphere in the shop - where they are all friendly and focused on customer service! If I still have hair in 20 years, I hope Marti will still be cutting it for me.
